Enable Second Factor Authentication (2FA)

To enable second factor authentication (2FA) within the POLi Console:

  1. Log into the Console and click on your username on the top right hand corner.
  2. Click on ‘Update my details‘
  3. At the bottom left hand corner click on the blue text ‘Second factor authentication‘
  4. Download your chosen authenticator app:

    You will need to download a second-factor application, such as:
    Google Authenticator for Android
    Google Authenticator for iPhone
    Microsoft Authenticator for Windows Phone.

    After installing a second factor application, generate a new code by clicking the button below.
  5. Click on ‘Generate OTP‘ and scan the QR code with your authenticator app. Click ‘Continue‘
  6. Enter the code shown in the authenticator app into the ‘verification code‘ field shown in the Console and click ‘Verify code‘

2FA will now be set up successfully.
