POLi facilitates an Internet Banking Bill Payment to transfer funds from your customer’s bank account directly to your bank account. Essentially, POLi enables your customers to pay for products and services online directly from their bank account instead of using credit cards.
The two currencies POLi supports is New Zealand Dollar (NZD) and Australian Dollar (AUD). Your business can be located anywhere in the world, the restriction is that you will need to have a bank account in New Zealand or Australia in order to accept and charge their respective currency.
Unfortunately POLi is a direct debit system and does not support credit card payments. POLi facilitates an Internet Banking Bill Payment on behalf of the customer in order to transfer funds directly from the Customer’s bank account to the Merchant’s bank account.

Unfortunately POLi does not support recurring payments as no banking information is saved on our servers. POLi facilitates a direct internet banking transfer.
Unfortunately POLi does not yet offer a Refund facility.
To process a credit, you will need to do it manually using your Internet Banking facility. For obvious reasons we recommend you only Refund a POLi payment back to the Bank Account the funds originally came from. You can find all the necessary details to refund the transaction from within the POLi Console.
Funds will be available in your settlement account in the same time frame that Internet Banking settles. This normally is either the same day or no later than Tuesday morning if a transaction happens between Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
